About Us
Our "Why"
We started JLs Innovative Repair LLC because John truly loves what he does. After years of working for others, he was ready for a change — the opportunity to work for himself, take pride in his work, and build something of our own.
We wanted to bring his skills and passion back home to our local community, helping our neighbors keep their equipment running. For us, JLS isn’t just a business — it’s a dream we’re building together, right here in the hometown we call home.
Our Services
At JLs Innovative Repair LLC, we keep your equipment running and ready to work. We provide reliable small engine repair and maintenance, from routine tune-ups and seasonal service to troubleshooting and repairs. Whether it’s your lawn mower, snowblower, or other small engine equipment, we’re here to help get it back in working order.
Our History
With 10+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, John has spent his career learning how to diagnose, repair, and keep all kinds of equipment running. Much of his professional experience was gained at Road Machinery & Supplies, along with hands-on training and knowledge from Dakota County Technical College. John has always repaired small engines on the side for friends, family, and those in the community. What started as something he enjoyed doing outside of work eventually grew into the dream of building a business of his own. While John isn't fixing a machine, you can find him hunting, fishing, ice fishing, or spending time with his kids and family.
